About Insurance Coverage Hub

Who runs this

Insurance Coverage Hub is a Bedrocka Tools property at coveragecalc.pro, operated by Bedrocka Tools LLC (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bedrocka Ventures LLC), an AI-native holding company based in Chicago. The site is part of the Bedrocka Tools family alongside BizMathPro (Business Finance Hub) and additional sites covering real estate investing, freelancer operations, and personal finance in active development. Each site is source-cited, reviewed quarterly, and corrected immediately when the underlying regulation, ISO form revision, or market changes.

Important: we're not a licensed agent

Bedrocka Tools is nota licensed insurance producer, broker, or agent in any state. We don't sell policies. We don't bind coverage. We don't earn commissions tied to specific carrier recommendations. The calculators on this site are educational tools to help you understand coverage need before you talk to a licensed agent — they are not a substitute for licensed advice, and the final binding decision on any policy should always be made with a licensed agent in your state who has reviewed your specific situation.

The human behind it

Byron Malone is the founder and editor. He's spent fifteen years working alongside companies, operators, founders, and consulting partners — helping them translate business priorities into operational reality through technology adoption, AI automation, and the practical operating practices that actually hold up at scale. That work has included structuring entity-level insurance for the businesses he ran, reviewing personal coverage at every life-stage transition, and stress-testing coverage at the asset-protection layer through more than one cycle.

The calculators on this site come directly from that work. Term-life coverage need math for an owner with a young family. Homeowners coverage gap analysis after a construction-cost-inflation cycle. Renters policy sizing for the household's actual liability exposure, not the carrier's default 100K placeholder. Byron kept rebuilding the same spreadsheets across different policies and different families, and finally decided the public internet's version of those tools — carrier-side lead funnels or affiliate aggregators — wasn't good enough.

Bedrocka Tools is built natively on AI automation with documented human review at every step. Byron leads editorial direction on coverage-need methodology. For YMYL-Insurance content involving life, health, or disability domains, every calculator passes through our Section 7 reviewer protocol (see editorial standards) before publication, with a credentialed subject-matter expert named on the page.

How we make money (and how we don't)

We make money two ways. Display ads, labeled “Advertisement” on every page, served through programmatic ad networks. Editorial affiliate partnerships, labeled “Editorial pick · Affiliate partner”, where we may earn a referral fee if you choose to use a partner we recommend — at no cost to you. Affiliate fees are flat referral payments, not commission tied to specific coverage levels or carriers.

We never let revenue influence calculator logic or coverage recommendations. The coverage-need math is the math regardless of whether a partner wants it to look different. If a partner ever asks us to tune a calculator's output to favor their product, we end the partnership. See our affiliate disclosure for the full list of partners and FTC-compliant terms.

Why open source

Every calculator on this site is published as TypeScript on GitHub under MIT license. Every formula traces to a primary source — ISO policy form language, IRC sections, NAIC bulletins, FEMA NFIP rules, LIMRA / ACLI research. Every page has a real human reviewer with public accountability. We believe insurance media's next decade will be defined by verifiable trust, not brand authority alone, and we built Bedrocka Tools to deliver it. Read our editorial standards for the full process.
